Do you remember your very first client?

How did you feel when you landed your first client? Do you remember? I know I was excited and surprised at the same time that it didn’t take as long as I thought it would. It is said that it’s easy to find your first client, but the trick is to find your second and then third.

What are your thoughts and experiences on this?

Virtually yours,

  1. I am still looking forward to my first client. I can only imagine the feeling. Hopefully soon. Then I will look towards the 2nd and 3rd. Good luck finding your future clients.

  2. Thanks, Kellie!! How long have you been a VA? Full-time or freelance? How are you promoting yourself to get you that first client?

I started my VA business back in November and have a couple of clients that are steady. I’m working hard at promoting my web site and setting up all the “administrative” things required to run a business for legal and tax purposes.
Just a lot to learn! How about you?

  3. Linda,

I just started my VA Business within the last month. I am currently a SAHM. Most of everything so far has been getting my ducks in a row. I went to one networking group but it was small and I haven’t gotten any feedback. I want to get a solid contract together before I start really promoting a lot. So within the next week I will be hitting it really hard. Best of luck to you on continued success.

  4. I have worked as a virtual assistant for more than a year. Now I am running my own business. The experience was good. The only problem was the difference of timing.

  5. Where are you from? How do you handle the time difference? I’m in Cleveland, Ohio.
